HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope you have had a lovely Christmas and New Year!

Work has been so busy over the festive period so I haven’t managed to do any videos the past few weeks however I was lucky enough to receive a Nikon D5300 camera for Christmas so I’m hoping to film my first video using it within the next couple of weeks. I work Monday to Friday then I do makeup on weekends so its a lot harder than I thought it would be to make time to film so I do apologise but please bare with me.. I will try to make the next tutorial a good one!! 🙂

Hey!!

Im so sorry that I have not posted for a while. I was on holiday with no WIFI (awful, I know) and since being back I have been super busy with work. Before going on holiday I posted another YouTube video to show you guys how I achieve an everyday make up look. To be honest, I hardly ever wear make up (strange for a makeup artist, I know) but through the week I am so lazy haha, plus I like to let my skin breath. However, I thought it would be good to show you guys what look I would go for if I was to apply make up with not much time.

My Skin Care Routine

I get quite a few people asking me what I use on my skin so I wanted to share with you my go-to skin care products. As the whether gets colder my skin does tend to get a little dry in places however I am very lucky to have smooth, clear skin so I don’t suffer with any skin problems. I have used this skin care routine for years and I will always recommend ‘Clinique’ to anyone who asks for my recommendation when it comes to skin care. I try to wash my face every day with ‘Clinique Liquid Facial Soap’, I then use ‘Clinique Rinse-off Foaming Cleanser’ followed by ‘Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel’. I absolutely love how soft it leaves my skin feeling and my face feels so clean after using them. I am of course no dermatologist and I understand that everyones skin is different but this is what works well for me…

So I finally plucked up the courage to make a YouTube tutorial and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. For a while now I have had lots of people encouraging me to start doing tutorials online and share my make up tips/ideas with the internet but before now I always found the idea quite daunting. Although I am still new to this (Blogging/YouTube) I am always thinking of what to post next and I already can’t wait to film my next tutorial. Mermaid Eyes (Client look)

I really enjoyed doing this look on my client (Paris) a few weeks back. I love it when clients enjoy experimenting with their makeup/colours. Paris has the most amazing blue eyes so this MAC pigment really made them pop.
